Head Injury Program

MHNI offers a formal evaluation and aggressive treatment program for patients who have suffered mild to moderate head injury and experience significant pain. Head and neck pain from traumatic brain injury can significantly affect functional ability and quality of life.

The Trauma Team undertakes a detailed assessment of the clinical situation and establishes a multidisciplinary treatment program. This team, which meets weekly in special conference, has as its primary goals effective pain control and a return to maximum functional status for participating individuals.
